A gift to the Library benefits the whole community. Monetary donations to purchase books or non-print materials and funding for programs and services are welcome.
Gifts may also be made to the Library in honor or in memory of a person, to celebrate a
family event or to mark any special occasion. An acknowledgement of gifts is sent to the person being honored; memorial gifts are acknowledged to the family of the deceased. Book memorials are recognized with a book plate bearing the name of the donor and the name of the person for whom the book was purchased. You may specify an area of interest or leave the selection to the Library.
We deeply appreciate the donations we receive from members of the community. Donations to the library are generally tax-deductible, to the extent allowed by law.
You may call Library Director Sandra Pointon at (630) 257-6541 or email email@example.com with any questions you may have.
Other Donation Opportunities:
Helping Veterans on the Homefront – October 1 through November 15, 2018
For the 11th year, the Library is partnering with the Lemont-Homer Glen Rotary Club and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Lemont VFW Post 5819 to collect items needed by the Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans in Wheaton and the Fisher House at the Hines V.A. Hospital. For each item donated from the veterans’ wish lists, you will receive a $1.00 coupon to pay library fines, purchase items from our Used Book Sale, print or fax (up to a $10.00 maximum per account).
