Distancing Distractions

The Library is the cornerstone of our community. It’s the place we gather to learn, play games, distract ourselves, and seek inspiration. The Library is currently closed, but that doesn’t mean we can’t learn, play and interact with others in our community. Stay active with us virtually and continue your Library experience from the comfort of your home!

Family Activities

Social Distance Reading Club

Read and complete activities to earn entries into our digital raffles. Just visit the site or use your Beanstack app to signup the whole family. If you did our Summer or Winter Reading Program your information is already in the system. If this is your first time, just follow the simple signup steps.
The program runs from March 20th until May 20th and is open to all Lemont residents and school children. Grand prizes are super top secret but will include items that help support local businesses. Do your part by reading apart!

There are 10 questions altogether. Questions will cycle through automatically. You will see your final score after you’ve answered all 10. On Friday, April 3, at 12:00 p.m. the person with the highest point total will be rewarded with a gift card prize to a local Lemont business. If there is a tie, tied participants will be offered the chance to win by answering a sudden death trivia question. Everyone participating should email their name, trivia nickname, and contact information to jwilliams@lemontlibrary.org for instructions on how to participate in the sudden death round or to claim their prize.
