OCCUPATION: Retired: Previously worked as a medical group administrator at Rush University Medical Center.

EDUCATION:  Bachelor of Arts Degree from St. Xavier University.

PERSONAL INFORMATION:    Having spent 37 years in medical group administration, she has been published in Connexion, the professional journal of the Medical Group Management Association, and currently supports that organization as a lifetime member with her knowledge and experience in a volunteer capacity. She was recognized for her work in medical administration by being listed in the 2002-2003 edition of United Who’s Who Registry of Executives and Professionals. She was appointed to the Lemont Public Library District Board in 2003, elected in 2005 and re-elected in 2009. She is currently Vice President of the Lemont Public Library Board, and Chairman of the Policy and Personnel Committee as well as the Planning and Goals Committee.

In addition to her Library Board responsibilities, Ms. Camalliere currently serves as Treasurer, and previously as VP of Development, for the Downers Grove Choral Society, a not-for-profit community chorus, since 2008. She is also a board member of the Lemont Area Historical Society, where she supervises that organization’s archives, and a member of the Sisters in Crime. She lives in Lemont, IL with her husband Chris, and has two sons and two grandsons. She enjoys reading, local history, writing fiction, music and gardening. She is the author of The Mystery at Sag Bridge (2015), a fictional historical mystery that takes place in Lemont, and The Mystery at Black Partridge Woods (2016) which continues the Cora Tozzi Historical Mystery Series.
