Early Voting for the November 4, 2014 Gubernatorial Election

Voter Registration: The library has staff members who can assist you in becoming a registered voter. It is recommended that you call the library to insure that one of these staff members will be available when you come to the library. You need to present two pieces identification; neither needs to be a photo ID, but one must include your current address. Our staff are authorized to register only those living in Cook County.
Grace Period Registration and Voting: Suburban Cook County
October 8 – November 3, 2014
Grace period registration and voting extends the registration period by allowing voters to register and vote until the day before an election. It is also the only way to vote if you are not registered or if your voter registration is not up to date. However, guidelines limit when and where grace period registrants can vote. During grace period registration, voters must register and vote in person at one of the locations listed below.
Individuals wishing to vote during the grace period must bring two pieces of identification to register. Grace period registrants immediately cast their ballot after registering to vote.
